Service Description

ELEGANT KOMON KIMONO Elegant komon features the same signature style of delicate, repeating patterns—but with more depth and a richer, more refined feel than standard synthetic komon. Made from silk, it has a natural luster that makes the patterns look finer and more timeless. Silk is also warmer, which makes this plan especially suitable for autumn and winter. Our Elegant Komon collection focuses on soft, low-saturation tones—detailed yet understated, elegant without being flashy—creating a calm, quietly luxurious look. Wearing Elegant Komon while strolling Kamakura’s old streets, shrine approaches, and temple gardens instantly adds a fresh, graceful presence. The traditional patterns feel almost cinematic—like stepping into a period drama and experiencing Kamakura at a slower pace. PLEASE NOTE Silk is sensitive to water and may shrink or wrinkle. For this reason, we do not recommend wearing this plan on rainy days. We also recommend avoiding the seaside unless accompanied by staff, as additional cleaning fees may apply if the kimono gets wet or soiled. *Note: At our shop, “Iromuji” (solid-color kimono) is included in the Komon plan. If you have a specific request, please feel free to contact us.

Cancellation Policy

CUSTOMER CANCELLATIONS / CHANGES • Free cancellation or rescheduling up to 3 days before your reservation date. • Cancellation from 2 days before up to the day before: 30% of the plan fee will be charged. • Same-day cancellation or no-show: 100% of the plan fee will be charged.

Deposit Policy

A ¥2,000 deposit is required to secure your reservation.
The final balance will be adjusted on-site based on your
selected plan
(any difference will be refunded or additionally charged).
If you wish to change your plan on the day of your visit,
our staff will be happy to assist with adjustments.

Estimated Time Required

JK Uniform Experience: approximately 30 minutes
Kimono Experience: approximately 45–60 minutes,
including selection, dressing, and hairstyling
To ensure a smooth experience, we kindly ask that you
arrive on time.

Return Time

Kimono items must be returned by 18:00 on the same day.
Late returns will incur an extension fee of ¥1,500 per hour.

You may also choose one of the following return options:

Station locker return
(simply place the items in the designated locker)
Return by mail (an additional ¥1,000 overnight fee applies)

Reservation Period & Availability

All experiences are primarily by advance reservation,
which can be made anytime through our official website.

If same-day availability remains,
you are also welcome to inquire via online booking or Instagram DM.

Online reservations: accepted up to 60 minutes before arrival
Walk-in visits: available if space allows
(advance inquiry recommended)
Changes or cancellations: please notify us as early as possible

Important Notes

All kimono and accessories are delicate items;
please handle them with care during your experience.
In cases of significant stains or damage,
cleaning or repair fees may apply.
Please keep your valuables with you at all times;
we are unable to take responsibility for lost or unattended items.
If you feel unwell during the experience,
please inform our staff immediately.
If you are unable to attend your reservation,
kindly notify us as early as possible.
Pregnant guests or those with limited mobility are encouraged
to contact us in advance so we may assist appropriately.
Small bags may be stored on-site;
for large luggage, please use station lockers.
Makeup services are not included;
however, a complimentary self-use touch-up area is available in-store.
